USS Arizona Memorial is the final resting place of more than sailors & Marines. At the visitor center here, one can also watch a film about the attack & visit museums.
Iolani Palace
Iolani, a National Historic Landmark was the official residence of the Hawaiin Kingdom❜s last two monarchs - King Kalakaua & his sister & successor Queen Liliuokalani. After restoration, it was opened as a museum around 1978. Museum❜s interior has elaborately carved wood paneling made from native woods. The throne room still has the original carved Throne & chandelier. Its facade is adorned with stained glasses & detailed decorations. The Iolani Palace has been listed under National Register of Historic Places.
