Catedral de Guadalajara (Guadalajara Cathedral)

San Juan de Dios Mercado (Libertad Mercado)

Libertad Mercado is one of the largest roofed markets in the Mexico. Spread over nearly 40000 sq. mts., here one will find various art & craft items/materials from all over the country. These include ceramics, silver, leather, palm leaf crafts, embroidered clothes, overcoats, blankets, leather coats & bags, sweaters, jorongos, & more. Hospicio Cabanas

Hospicio Cabanas or Instituto Cultural Cabanas is situated in the downtown historic center of the city of Guadalajara. It has been listed under the World Heritage Sites. It is a former hospital & orphanage built in the beginning of the 19th century. Built in the Neoclassical architectural style, today the complex is home to the Cabanas Cultural Institute & the Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The collection of 57 magnificent frescoes, painted by Jose Clemente Orozco, are considered amongst his finest works are the main highlight here.

Guadalajara Zoo

Guadalajara Zoo, the largest zoo in Jalisco, is a famous tourist attraction in the city.
