Dallas World Aquarium
The Dallas World Aquarium is situated at North Griffin Street near the Historic West End District. The aquarium is a fun & educational excursion for people of all ages. In almost 87000 gallons of saltwater are housed an array of sea creatures. These include stingrays, jellyfish, bonnethead sharks, sea turtles, giant groupers, & rare leafy sea dragons. The Orinoco Rainforest is another fun highlight here exhibiting numerous free-flying birds such as toucans.
Dallas Museum of Art
Opened in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art is amongst 10 largest museums in the United States. It houses more than 24000 art work from different parts of the world including ancient artifacts to contemporary art. Some of the major highlights from the collection are classical art & artifacts from ancient Egypt, Rome, & Greece; paintings by Claude Monet; & some contemporary pieces by Jackson Pollock.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science is housed within a building designed by Thom Mayne, is an architectural masterpiece. Museum is divided into various themes with games, educational stations, & high-tech displays. These themes include energy, engineering & innovation, earth, evolution, science, & more.
